As an engineer, you have a lot of freedom here
“As a chemical engineer, I have a broad perspective on the day-to-day challenges in production. My approach is for us to produce as many tonnes of melamine as possible at the lowest variable costs. So I’m constantly looking for ways to make the plant run more efficiently. To do that, I need freedom to move, and that’s possible at a relatively small organisation like OCI Nitrogen. I can drop in on any of my co-workers to consult. The lines of communication are short, and that means I can get things done.”
