There is certainly room for more women in this technical environment

"My development here is going quicker than I could have imagined. I like to think ahead in any case. It was already my plan to progress from Operator B to the measuring chamber. That's why I started the Vapro C course. This training is almost complete now. And although I'm having a great time as an outside operator, the switch to the measuring chamber will probably come sooner than expected. There is a turnover within the organisation and many employees will soon be retiring, which is why there is a great demand for measuring chamber operators. If possible, a combination of 'inside' and 'outside' work is what is wanted. That would be ideal. What I'm describing now is typical of the way in which OCI Nitrogen deals with me. The opportunities present themselves, and then we look at how we both can make the best of them. By the way, I'm the only woman who works here as an outside operator. There are no women working in the measuring chamber either. As a technical woman, I'm used to working in a man's world. I still like it. I'm mostly honest and I remain myself. I demonstrate that I know what is required. As far as I'm concerned, there is certainly room for more women in this fascinating technical environment!
